Just saw this when searching for something. I’ve never seen site-search integrated into Googles results before.

Is this new or am I just dense?

ANOTHER iPhone Restore

Second day in a row I have to spend hours restoring my iPhone because all the 3rd party apps stopped working.

Shouldn’t there be a class action case for this? I’m just about to call the Lemon law into effect here. I started a thread asking about Lemon law classification on the Apple Discussions.

Heh, here are two other posts today about this exact issue. One at Macenstein and one at iPhone Atlas.

7:21pm EST - my post was removed from Apple Discussions. Thanks Apple, guess I’ll be calling the Attorney General to find out. Below is a copy of the email I was sent.

First off, I’ve had to restore my iPhone at least once a week since I got it. Today marks the second day in a row I’ve had to restore because it’s the only way to (temporarily) fix the apps crashing issue.

I’m wondering, does this classify the iPhone as a lemon under the federal/state Lemon laws? I’m about to call a lawyer because I feel taken advantage of.

I’m about as big a fan-boy as you can be (house full of Apples, moved my entire company to Apple products, waited in line for iPhone, spend tons of money on iTunes, etc.) but this apple has soured.

I love having to restore my iPhone every few days because all the 3rd party apps stop working. Thanks for the great product Apple. Oh yea, and you can take that 2.0.2 iPhone update and shove it up your ass. Now I’ve started getting “No Signal” all over the place. Let’s not mention the fact that a restore takes HOURS to do.

When it works, I love my iPhone. Times like this I think of going back to my Blackberry.
